American Legion sets convention

The American Legion will hold its state convention in Mountain Home July 9-12.

David Rehbeinb, the Legion's national commander, is expected to lead the list of dignitaries attending the event, which is being jointly sponsored by the two American Legion Posts in Mountain Home, Post No. 26 and Post No. 101.

The American Legion Auxiliary also will hold its state convention here at the same time.

Activities will be held at both War Memorial Hall and at the junior high school.
