Glenns Ferry dump basically closed

All commercial dumping has been banned from the Glenns Ferry landfill, and commercial refuse haulers, as well as building and landscaping contractors, must now take their loads to either the Bennett Road transfer station or the Idaho Waste Systems (IWS) facility on Simco Road.

The action was taken by the county commissioners on Jan. 1.
