Letter to the Editor

Voters shouldn't be swayed by emotion

Wednesday, October 15, 2008

Dear editor:

Subject: The end of a way of life, the fruits of our collective action. Not from foreign enemies, nor from want of substance, but from all consuming greed and stupidity to bring an end to our free market.

Freedom, democracy, demands moral rational and responsible participants, the immune system that protects us.

When our immune system fails greed like cancer destroys. Our free market system is on life support, and brain dead, not able to respond.

Let's take the parts that work and build a new market system with safeguards.

Who said democracy is perhaps the most dangerous of political systems because it entrusts the making of decisions to a majority that can so easily be swayed by sordid emotion?

What is next?
