Can't argue with her gun argument

Wednesday, April 9, 2008

Dear editor:

About the gun issue: Five years ago, My daughter and I took a vacation to London.

While on a subway train we were met by a Scotsman who made a remark about American's and their right to bear arms.

I don't remember his exact words, but I remember my defensive remarks was, "That, sir, is to make sure that nobody marches us off to some darn death camp." After a moment of silence and quiet contemplation, the Scotsman replied, "Well missy, I can't argue with that."
