Tiger wrestlers lose match at Columbia

The Mountain Home Tigers wrestling squad dropped a 46-21 conference dual match at Columbia High School in Nampa last Thursday night.

Nico Pingue picked up Mountain Home's only pin of the night at 140 pounds.

Calvin Vivier (145) won a major decision, and Chris Knudson (171) and Kaeo Doronio (130) picked up wins by decisions.

T.J. Billinger (119), Tanner Carpenter (160) and Matt Ward (189) lost by decisions, Kamron Spaulding (152) lost by major decision, and Zach Pomerantz (125), Colby Lord (215) and James Bailey (285) lost by pins.

John Deal (135) won by forfeit.

The Tigers forfeited at 103 and 112 pounds.

The Tigers host Emmett and Borah for a tri-match Thursday, with Mountain Home squaring off against Emmett at 4 p.m., Emmett and Borah at approximately 5:30 p.m., and Mountain Home and Borah facing each other at approximately 7 p.m.
