Rimrock Senior Center receives grant

The Rimrock Senior Citizens Center in Grand View, has received a grant in the amount of $1,000.00 from Idaho Community Foundation for expenses in running and maintaining their community bus.

The bus is used to transport people to and from Rimrock Senior Center for congregate meals and for delivering meals-on-wheels. It is also used to transport the public to and from Mountain Home, once each month for the purpose of doctor and dental appointments, shopping, recreation and whatever else people need to do.

"The grant will make it possible for us to use this bus on a regular bases", said Carolyn Larson, Coordinator. "The Idaho Community Foundation deserves special thanks for helping us with this." The Center is open Tuesdays and Thursdays.
