1st time voter says Prouty is best choice

Dear editor:

My name is Dominique Ramirez and I am going to turn 18 in a couple of weeks. This means I will be able to vote for the first time in my life. I am very excited about it.

I have watched my parents and other adults around me as they talk about and make decisions who to vote for or how to vote on a bond issue. I have always had an opinion and finally I get a chance to give it. It feels great.

My first election for making a decision is the city council race. It is my honor to give my first vote to Mitch Prouty.

Mitch is the kind of person I want running the city and I just know he will do a good job. And I know Mitch will appreciate getting my first vote.

I hope this letter reminds people how important their vote is and that they get out and cast a vote for their favorite candidate.
