Mountain Home got second half goals from Christian Adamson and Kyle Hall to tie the Bishop Kelly Knights, 2-2, on Aug. 21 at Eastside Park in Mountain Home.

Bryan Walsh and Greg Walsh both had assists, and Tiger goalie Josh Lindsay had four saves on goal.

Tiger boys soccer coach Paul Walsh was pleased with the first effort of the season.

"The first half we kind of let ourselves down. The kids were a little slow getting to the ball, but they stepped it up in the second half and took it to them. That was really encouraging to see them come back like that."

The Tigers lost on the road at Middleton last Thursday, losing to the Vikings 3-1.

Danny Snelgrow scored the Mountain Home goal on an assist by Chris Oswald.

Josh Lindsay had eight saves on goal.

"It was a lot better game than what the score says," said Coach Walsh of the Middleton loss. "The ref gave them a P.K. (penalty kick) right there towards the end of it, and that really kind of put it out of reach. That kind of took the wind out of sails of our guys. I felt like we were kind of coming back. We definitely played a lot better in the second half. we picked up a couple more players, and they're looking like they'll come together for us, so we're looking for good things."

The Tigers hosted Kuna Monday, and travel to Nampa for a 5 p.m. game tomorrow (Thursday).
