The Elks Lodge held its Annual Sweetheart Dance on Feb. 14 where they were entertained by the MHHS Encore Company and the newest Elk Queen was named.

Employees of our local Maverik Store #209 donated three djembe drums to the Hacker Middle School music program last week. Pictured from left to right are: Bryan Satter, Dian Evans and Chris VanCuren with the Hacker Student Council.
