Geri died December 5, 2019. From Council, Idaho, she was born March 10, 1925, to Vollie and Edith Zink. She graduated in 1942 and during WWII worked as a Rosie the Riveter at Gowen Field, and she also learned to fly at Floating Feather Air Field. In 1946, she married Walter Eugene Covey.
