It’s official, on July 12, long time assistant to Jerry Rost as an employee at Rost Funeral Home and 13 years as his Deputy Coroner, Nickie Campbell, was sworn in as the new Elmore County Coroner by County Clerk Shelley Essl. Things were off to a shakey start after the retirement of Rost last month, but after stepping in as temporary coroner, Campbell has now been appointed to serve in that position until the 2020 election. ...
