The Elmore County Commissioners met on Aug. 17 to address and discuss current issues in the county. The commissioners began by speaking with Katie Hughes about a swimming pool in her yard. Ordinance says that if a pool is over two feet deep, it requires a six foot barrier to be in place. Hughes did not have a barrier, but was told she could remedy the issue by simply putting up a six foot wire fence...

The Elmore County Commissioners called their regular meeting back into session at 6 p.m. on Aug. 17 in the upstairs courtroom at the Elmore County Courthouse. Von Roy Christiansen, 83, a resident of Eagle, passed away August 22, 2018 in Eagle. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
