Shades of the past came out to speak during the Mountain Home haunted tour sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce Travel and Tourism. Unlike the historical walking tour, that was already filmed and is due to be uploaded to You Tube soon, this is a tour of historical places that are rumored to be haunted...

The City of Mountain Home will be hosting an Endless Summer Festival of Beer Aug. 19 from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. in Carl Miller Park. Four brewers will be providing 25 different craft beers, which can be purchased with tokens.

This year, volunteers from the Idaho Friends of NRA committee will host a 7th Annual Event and Auction on Aug. 19 at 5:30 p.m. at the Mountain Home Elks Lodge. Proceeds go towards the NRA Foundation, a charitable organization which funds grant requests from organizations promoting the future of shooting sports...
