    Karen Lea Blurton, 74, of Mountain Home, returned peacefully to her Heavenly Father on Dec. 29, 2016. Karen was born Jan. 16, 1942, in Hines, Ore., to parents Dorothy Audrey Zink Blurton and Victor Hugo Blurton. Karen loved life and especially children. Although she never had any of her own, she made many families happy by caring for and being such an important part of their children's lives.
