Mountain Home hosted a Last Chance track and field meet last Wednesday at Tiger Field with the boys squad winning the event with the girls team finishing second overall. Mountain Home led the boys' competition with 148 points. Kuna was second with 109 and Owyhee, Nev., a distant third with 26. Meanwhile, the team from Elko, Nev., was fourth with 21 points and North Star Charter finished with 15 points...

The Elmore County Friends for Recovery, in conjunction with the Elmore County Drug and DUI Court, will host the Fourth Annual The Good, The Bad and the Authority Softball Tournament on May 16 at Optimist Park.
