Retired Col. Robert A. "Curly" Schamber of Glenns Ferry, 90, died on Feb. 18, 2015. With his family at his side, he passed away peacefully knowing he is loved and will be missed. Robert was the eldest son of Arthur R. And Mabel C. (Hanson) Schamber. Curly was a pilot in the Air Force for almost 30 years, where he flew aircraft in World War II, the Berlin Airlift, Korea and Vietnam.
