In the days leading up to the Fourth of July holiday, Col. David Iverson, 366th Fighter Wing commander, launched a special effort on base to encourage responsible drinking behavior by the men and women under his command. Betty J. Wood, 89, of Mountain Home, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2014, at her home. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., on Monday, July 21, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.
