Dawn Jaleyne Gesin, a 1993 graduate of Mountain Home High School, passed away quietly in her sleep on Jan. 7, 2014. Dawn was born in Fairbanks, Alaska, on April 25, 1975. At the age of 12, while living in Mountain Home with her parents and older sister, Dawn was diagnosed with childhood cancer. Many months of treatment at Mountain States Tumor Institute in Boise put the cancer into remission, but left her with a very fragile immune system...
