One of Mountain Home's summer traditions will return July 9 when the 2009 Summer Concert Series kicks off. The first concert in the series in Carl Miller Park will feature Sol' Jibe, described as "world rock for the gypsy soul." A Mountain Home AFB man and his family were involved in a fatal car crash Monday afternoon near New Meadows. At approximately 4:25 p.m., an Adams County Deputy, Monte "Leroy" Matthews, 35, of New Meadows, was on routine patrol on US95 at milepost 153, near the community of Tamarack south of New Meadows, when he was struck by a southbound 2003 Honda Odyssey Minivan, being driven by Mark Zampogna, 39, of Mountain Home Air Force Base...
