  • Free shredding day scheduled (Local News ~ 05/29/09)
    May 30, Pioneer Federal Credit Union in Mountain Home will sponsor a "community shred day" on May 30 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Anyone with papers they would like shredded can take them to the credit union during that time. The event is described as a way to "prevent fraud and to help people clean up their extra paperwork that they have laying around in a safe way."...

    Nicholas A. Aiken of Troop 57 has been awarded the rank of Eagle Scout -- The Boy Scouts of America's highest honor. Troop 57, sponsored by First Congregational Church, held a Court of Honor April 15 to bestow the Eagle Badge.
