The SFCWMA (South Fork Cooperative Weed Management Area) will again be offering a community weed awareness spray day for the Mayfield, Prairie, Pine/Featherville communities. The spray days are made possible due to a cost share program with the Idaho State Department of Agriculture. The Mountain Home Arts Council will host a book signing for local author Chris DeVore at Common Ground Coffee and Plants on Saturday, May 16, from 1-3 p.m. DeVore will be signing his third novel, "A Palatable Past," which was released by PublishAmerica earlier this year.
