Spontaneous combustion in a pile of grass, weeds and brush ignited a small but troublesome fire at the old Mountain Home city dump on Wednesday morning. Neighbors in the south area of Mountain Home were somewhat surprised Tuesday evening when a special operations team with the Mountain Home Police Department conducted a drug raid and arrested seven adults and one juvenile for a variety of drug-related charges. "I have lived here about six months and have often thought that there was something suspicious about the people coming and going over there...most of them stopping by for a few minutes and then leaving" said one Air Force neighbor.
