Idaho State Police continue to investigate the death of Tawni Burkett, 38, of Mountain Home, Sunday evening. Burkett was struck by a vehicle as she stood in the traffic lane of Airbase Road. She died at the scene. Officers are waiting for the results of toxicology tests for the victim.
