A dam waste of money
The Department of Homeland Insecurity is going to spend three quarters of a million dollars to protect Anderson Ranch Dam from terrorists.
What a waste of money.
We'd love to know who did the threat analysis that made anybody think the dam would be high on any terrorist's list of targets. We're not sure any terrorist in the world even knows the dam exists, much less cares.
Sure, we're all for national security, but come on folks, if we're going to be throwing hard-earned taxpayer dollars at the problem, let's not just pour it down a rat hole.
That money could be spent on a lot of other things, like making sure somebody actually watches the terrorist watch lists for people coming into this country. Or how about some serious border security.
But protecting Anderson Ranch Dam? That's your tax dollars at work.
