Well jtrotter: I agree with that however, it's a shame that more people will not participate with a survey. If these are done by cold-calling, then I imagine they get alot of hang-ups. So they have to go with what they can get.

I think that it is interesting how 56% thought that an Arizona style immigration law should be passed in Idaho.

Yet 73% of those same people felt that some type of a program to allow illegal immigrants to stay in this country is needed.

I think the disparity in numbers is reality based.you will never be able to deport the numbers of people we think we can.AND A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE BEEN HERE FOR DECADES THEY SEE THEMSELFES AS AMERICANS.The arizona law is flawed in allowing the assumption of guilt,and being directed at only one group,we have illegals of every persuasion so if you target one target all.

I IN NO WAY SUGGESTED REWARDING ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR.....reality is 12.million as a minimum number with estimates as high as 30 that is a lot of taxpayer detention centers i cant afford that. I have been following the EWG for about ten years. They have some interesting lists, as you can see where the money goes, by name. I especially don't like the amounts the big industrial farmers are getting, but I know it helps the small farmers. To me it shows how the government is trying to tell the farmers what to grow and then if they do grow the right crops or have a dairy they get the money. The EWG is into many things and is politically linked to the left in most of it's organizations. I know Hanoi Jane's ex was a big money contributor in the past and may still be.
