Slaves to technology
In our modern lives we sure become slaves to technology.
When that Technology goes sour we nearly loose what little bit of sanity we have left.
Case-n-point, sending 411 to Utah to update for some DOT filings all of a sudden nothing, lights on modem start blinking and I begin to have a fit.
I paid my bill so I knew that surely couldn't be it.
Cable TV was working so cable line intact, but still no Internet.
When I was about to give up and go to bed, the blooming thing regains operation so what ever it was must have been fixed. But my I became worried.
Sometimes I think we depend too much on the Internet, computers and the like, but then I begin to think what was life like before I had, such things. More-over I wonder how my parents fended before such things.
Ignorance must have been a state of bliss, I suppose.
As I close, I noticed on the news protests about not letting Gays get married in Idaho.
I hope Idaho and all will uphold Idaho's laws not allowing this.
Marriage should be between man and WOMAN. Or perhaps truck.
