Sad news to report about a former member of the Hazzard Knytes

I learned yesterday that an outsted and former member of the Hazzard County Knytes was arrested and being held in the Gooding County Jail on several charges related to messing around with young and who knows how young females in Hagerman.

Former Hazzard Knytes member Leslie(its a guy) Lynch of Hagerman supposedly felt up one too many young women in his neighborhood. Which is a stones throw from both the Hagerman High School as well as grade and junior high there in my home town. Now in America still, I hope so any way, that one is innocent until proven guilty. That said I don't know the circumstances and I am going to stick my nose into the situation because as a person old Les Lynch knew more about 4 wheels and an engine than just about anyone I ever knew. Except Jimmy Madonald my original partner at the Hazzard Garage there. Les was a recluse for most of his life raised 3 great and intelligent daughters, had one of the finest wives I have ever knew until she got in with the wrong bunch and started using too much nose candy, so I'm sure there is more to this story than meets the eyes and ears. What I do think is that some of these girls Les messed with and their parents are in on the project of putting away good old Les to rip him off of some rare 55, 56, 57 Chevy's and tons and tons of antiques, and parts. Les was one of those few who took time to and introduced me to both turning a wrench and going towing. While Les is no longer a member of the Hazzard Knytes(Knytes-of-Anarchy) and so on, he deserves a fair trial, as well as the support of us as members of The Knytes-of-Anarchy. However and its bad to say it this way but someone once said, when one door closes another opens. Should Les get convicted and all, you can bet your next tank of diesel, that I am going to be settng up camp down in good old Hagerman and resurrecting the town as both Hazzard and the Hazzard Garage itself. So why am I looking for new home for my operation when I just plunked down $5,000.00 on a roof here in Glenns Ferry?

Simple , Simplot who owns the shop I am renting here in Glenns Ferry , besides the fact its $450.00 a month, plus utiities, but the shop doors are shot and takes a bunch of effort just to open, the plumbing is shot, and Simplot wants too much in the way of supporting insurance. To be able to sustain all of that on the mere $2,500.00 I make between Social Security, and all, there is just not enough beans in the can so to speak. To be able to make just expenses I'd have to be generating 50 calls minimum a day and there just is not that in Glenns Ferry.

With, Bliss, Hagerman(Hazzard), to Buhl and to Wendell there is a ton more going on population wise and money wise over there that makes that area a lot more attractive. Sure its going to hurt to know someone else is living in the original house my Mom, Dad and I built there years ago, but when it comes down to me having to bum money just to buy a can of Skoal as I had to Thursday, and swallowing pride to make some money in my chosen profession of going towing I choose swallowing pride.

Sure I have 9 more months on my lease here in Glenns Ferry and all, but Hagerman is not that far away to begin rebuilding myself and my operation, not to mention the Knytes-of-Anarchy.

Les Lynch's hearing is in the second week of November and I'll be there.
