The Frost is now off the pumpkin

So here it is another Sunday, NASCAR on my TV of the few last races of the season heading into the 4 for the Chase for the Cup. The realization that now much of the funds are spent and that there wont be anymore spent for another at minimum 6 months or at maximum a year begs the question will the investment be sustainable for the future at least the immediate future.
Yesterday I did a thing that I don't usually do , I dumped $5,000.00 in roofing for a structure I don't even own. Granted the deed buys some insurance but was it a thought that should have been looked at a bit furthur rather than just acted upon because some fast talking big city sales guy said I should?
The reason I question my own actions here is the longevity of my existance here in Glenns Ferry. With comments from a certain City Council member of Glenns Ferry this past Tuesday and consideration of the Treasure(pleasure)Valley area of Boise or immediate area, the roofing feat might have even been a bit premature. But Its done, and now thoughts begin to weigh in.
Take a scan at my blog located at www.ayretraxx.blogspot.com with regards to the airport improvement make-over for Glenns Ferry. More over what was lost because of some very short sighted City Council members.
The fact is for the short haul I and the Knytes-of-Anarchy are here in Glenns Ferry, for the winter to mid summer 2009, past that there are no repeat no long term plans on the boards for the area. But I did come up with a concept.
With all the protesting of a Nuke Plant between Mountain Home and Hammett, one of our members thought, why not pitch the idea for a regional airport project to be located at the same location? The thing is after last Tuesday's Glenns Ferry City Council meeting which I personally was attacked at, my views of the area has changed where I'm looking for other locations, for the business of both the AyreWolves, Knytes-of-Anarchy, as well as myself.
As far as the shop here, I rented, fact is I'm keeping it long enough to get my own rigs up to speed to compete in Boise, past that who knows. I have got to see much more than I have seen lately, to throw down the anchor and say this is the place.
In closing, the life I lead albeit with a lot of uncalm seas, from Jerome to Salt Lake City, to Pocatello to heck even Burley back here again, I'm beginning to miss a few creature comforts, like a Maverick Store or even a SubWay sandwhich shop. And yes I'm looking at Mountain Home as a 10-20, but who knows.
