The day was good but the night turned Ugly

This blog entry is of two different subjects. One is of a sensitive nature the other was something that was a good thing. First as many say it the bad news. Went to the grandioso Glenns Ferry City Council meeting. Was about to present business regarding our concept of airport improvement. However one council person Dave Pember, of all the blogs and subjects took a blog title out of context and tried to make it a jab. Problem is the subject had nothing to do with the Airport. I had carved a blog regarding the do and don'ts of searching for female talent for publication feature photography of specialty rides. Whether that had anything to do with aircraft or of a custom Harley. I had mentioned that I had talked briefly with the members of the Hazzard Knytes. One who had stopped by who was having a brew with me, one evening mentioned a nieghbor gal who this member thought would be cool in a tastily done photo with a custom truck. Guess what Council person Dave Pember said he was contacted by a concerned citizen. Ah bull stuff. The council person does not like me, for some odd unknown reason(wolves are feared even though not understood) and part of that has to do with,I think as many in a small town most do not like change. Let's keep the town small, not let it grow and fear thinking out of the box, maybea bit wild but lets not do that no, no. Okay then. In my blog about the models thing I said when I was 16, 17 or so back in the good old days of the late 1970's early 1980's, our custom ride group, or the shop or both could post a note at the Polish Palace of Hagerman , ( Now Frog's Lily Pad) The bottom line , many young and not so young gals showed up, did the photo shoots, many did it for nothing cause they did it for kicks and 15, seconds of fame.Always in good taste, no nudes, no bikini's etc. About the only thing racy was someone dressing up like Daisy Duke. (The shop was after all named after the one on TV) One dressed up like that played hookey from school to do the shoot. But got out of trouble since it was for us and the shop. The bottom end here is the shop got noticed, the club got noticed, and a few charities got money ffrom some of our projects, because of that notice. But nothing SEXUAL HAPPENED, nor was it ever intended. Thing is this was a subject that should have been brought up in private, not in public at a City Council Meeting. Watch in a few days the story that hits in the Glenns Ferry Gazette. Any mile off we go. But before I do, I want to make sure that the daughters, wives and other females of all ages have nothing to fear. I work on my truck, I go home, I mess wth computer, I watch TV I go to sleep. If the day ever comes where our group needs that kind of talent we will obtain it from an agency. So getting back on the road.
Noticed that from the 183 mile stick on east especially the Burley, Rupert, Paul area, got some early snow. Not that much but enough. The trip back to GF was great in old Lexi. purrin like a young tiger just crooning both pipes just making music that no band could ever match. Got between Shoshone and Richfield and there was a band of sheep being moved somewhere. So in closing. Outside of Council person Dave Pember, and the crap of the city council meeting, the day was spectacular. By the way MR. Pember hope you want to be the one that explains why our air group moves elsewhere, and a private airport gets built. By the way Mr. Pember there is an election coming.
Still having a stomache ache. Can't keep nothing down.
Good numbers to ya'll.
