So what started the lunch talk about nylon hose?

Two words that sound alike but mean something different, the words TOW and TOE. Okay , the guys at the shop and I decided to do up a TV spot for the going towing service here as well as the shop itself. Grabbing a concept of a plumber in Boise who kissed the hand of a customer whom he just fixed her toilet(his tag line was "We treat our customers like royalty). So, one of my guys thought it'd be kuel to have me at the end of our TV spot kiss the female models, toe. Who we just saved from the road, And run the tag line, we Love TowZ(toe's)-on words . So the trip to Boise,I couldn't find anyone in our area to do the ad to a talent agency and requesting that the model wear nylon hose strictly as a hygene thing, was the idea. What we saw was great legs, few wearing hose, and a bunch of unprepaired,un-pedicured feet that no way was what we were looking for. The concept of our ad is to have a Daisy Duke look alike break down in her truck, (no Jeep this time) and have yours truly rescue her from a CB call for help, and at the end of the ad she'd sit on the side of my tow rig, cross her legs and I'd smooch her toe(we love towz). Over the top for an ad? Perhaps, but it might be one that someone would remember. As I have said many times, if your going to buy TV air time for your tow service, you have a millisecond to get your viewers attention. Whether your spending $20.00 an ad for not prime time, or more for Prime time advertising the more creative the ad, the better they remember, so you do what you can to get across the idea. Why do up a TV ad for a towing service. Dig this, HELP Towing of Garden City several years ago, did up none prime time ads spent $500.00 a month and in 3 months was doing $50,000.00 a month or better business. That kind of a return on the investment demands my attention. So before a bunch out there starts thinking I'm some sort of Perve, its not in that thought that we are producing such an ad, its to get more to ring our phone ths winter. Our ad once done will run on Knight Rider locally and on the Speed Channel his spring as well as on the channels running NASCAR starting in February.
