The State of Idaho and the State of Ada

In 1998 through a serious goof in finances by Trustee's I had to move away once again from our homestead near Hagerman, which brought me 8 years ago when I first moved here to Glenns Ferry and only moved away because the house I lived in was being over run with mice and ants. Any mile a deputy here then told me there is the State of Idaho then there is the state of Ada. What goes in Boise or immediate area does not always or very rarely goes elsewhre in Idaho. Okay I see that. Of course I don't think we'll see community or County supported brothels in our area or elsewhere in Idaho like there is in Boise and Ada County. Nor do I see RC Willy's elsewhere in Idaho. Likewize the BSU Broncos go Blue/Orange but few other University athletics do as well as Boise State , and I don't think you'd see a Vo-Tech Broadcasters program, like Boise State University has at any other state University or higher education school. I'd like to see that same program at say CSI, in Twin Falls or ISU in Pocatello. That course of instruction or program would bring in if not bring about on air professionals home grown rather than those coming in from other areas to gain the on air experience. I was lucky in media as a youth. I was taught by Kelly Klause at then KEEP 1450 AM KEZJ FM Twin Falls, and furthered my abilities at KART out of Jerome(where I was born by the way) with the encouragement of Al Lee. That's getting off subject. Sorry. Any mile a company who makes remote robot prehistoric critters, has made Eagle its home. Its not in my too distant memory that Eagle was about the size of Glenns Ferry. What I'm getting too is , why can't we have a bit of the out of the normal thinking throughout the rest of Idaho that seems to bring economic improvement to Ada County and Boise? What we need is a Governor like Dirk Kempthorne. Dirk brought the improvement to Boise during his term as Mayor of the top city in Idaho. Dirk was not affraid to listen and even put in place laws and such even if it was not a popular one. Case-n-point, I moved to Boise years ago, after my mom and dad passed away. When I went to the Ada County Sheriffs office to inquire about getting on their tow truck rotation list, the one requirement was you had to have 3 trucks to get on rotation. Even if you met all the rest of the standards. At the time had only one truck. So I went to a Boise city council meeting to voice my opinion on the issue. Both the current then Sheriff of Ada County and newly elected Dirk heard my voice, put me on a secondary rotation list and I was making more money going towing than I ever had before. Only moved away from Boise then because got hitched, then divorced and Boise was no big enough for both of us to live in the same town. What I'm getting to here is instead of beating people over the head because of out of the box not usual ideas, whether that is a nuclear plant, here or a radio/TV station in Glenns Ferry, or a hot rod truck shop/towing service.
