Not all of us are running below the 40 year mile post

When I watch Television and I seemed to be doing that more before I moved here to this great and beautiful town of Glenns Ferry, but it seems as those TV execs target the below 40 years old demographic. The thing I look for when watching TV are shows that albeit for only an hour or two allow me to remember a life I knew or lived once and would not mind living again, although I know that is not possible. Okay sure this town and area dang well is not Hazzard, nor am I Bo Duke, if anything and it has been said I do look much like old Crazy Cooter, funny when ya'll think about it that a character from TV from one of if not my favorite show doing what I do(going towing) in a small rural community,(Hagerman or Hazzard) and so on which is sort of the way that all happened. But in February 2009 TV goes digital. Improved signal yes, improved TV? I don't know yet. programming choices have not improved much, and while the delivery system will be much nicer, I'd like to see programs that are more family friendly. Not just the Dukes, but how about an old series like Gunsmoke? Or even a series like that of a western cowboy show? Beverly Hillbillies and so on, not just rural shows that shows that not everyone is walking around with money in their jeans and shooting each other. We have way to many cop shows, and so on, how about a sort of variety show like Hee-Haw, rather than so much reality shows. If we are going to do reality show, how about redoin Rescue 911? But getting back to the title of this blog. Not everybody is running at the below(or younger than 40) year milepost of the road of life. I'd like to see both marketing as well as TV aimed at some of us older than 40, like me; at the 50 milepost. Next blog the after noon breakfast cafe.
