  • It looks like your tow truck has been stolen, and moved to Alabama (note the license plate below the emergency lights) and those scoundrel alabamans are driving into Florida, and stealing cars with it. See article: http://consumerist.com/assets/resources/2007/10/This%2520Is%2520Not%2520A%2520Pr...

It is truly an outrage that a hard working man such as yourself has to be subjected to the scandalous thievery of some unscrupulous scalawags who in turn give everyone in the recovery business a bad name.

  • It would appear that your tow truck is rather old and outdated and not capable of dealing with all the scenarios that can happen along a modern day enterstate highway.

  • Ben, Do you think Mr. Montgomery borrowed this picture or is he somehow connected to the incident in the article?

  • He grabbed the picture off the internet. The guy owns one towtruck, but he imagines owning a fleet. When he posted that pic, I did a GIS (Google Image Search) on "towtruck," and found the image that he stole and provided a link to the article. While he may be dishonest in his description of his "empire," I think it highly unlikely that he would venture into criminal activities. He doesn't have it in him to be feeding a chop shop the way the article describes.
