1963-2021 Lee J. Snyder, beloved wife, “mum”, and friend passed away suddenly on 1 July, 2021 at her home in Grand View, Idaho. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Rimrock High School gym on Saturday, July 17 at 10am.

Lee was born on December 9, 1963 in London England. She loved spending time in the mountains camping, hunting, or riding in a side by side. She also loved the spring/summertime with her hands in the dirt of her flower garden. Saturdays in the fall, if not in the mountains, she could be found in front of a TV watching college football with her husband. Her voice could be heard from miles away watching her son TJ playing football at all ages. One of her biggest and most proud moments, was becoming a citizen of the United States of America, as she truly loved the USA. Lee worked for years at the Grand View Elementary School and took on a motherly role as she cared for all her “kids”. She then went on to work at Simplot Land & Livestock as the office coordinator, or as her husband called her…the “office commander”. During her time at Simplot, she had the same approach as she did when she worked at the school…but now many of those “kids” were now adults and working for Simplot. She had a true and loving care for the employees.

Lee is survived by her husband Scott, sisters Tracy and Kerry, son TJ and his wife Mandi, four horses, two dogs, one outdoor cat, and yes…11 indoor cats.

Lee is also survived by many friends throughout the valley, as she touched so many lives in one way or another.

In-lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lee’s name to the Animal Welfare League of Elmore County, or the Idaho Humane Society.
