Murder Trial of Scott Riggs begins

On Tuesday, Feb. 12 the final jury selection began in the murder trial of Paula Ferbrache in Aug. of 2017. Accused and standing trial is Scott Eugene Riggs who has been charged with Murder in the First degree and has been incarcerated throughout the legal process. The case is being heard by Judge Nancy Baskin in a jury trial that could last up to 6 weeks. Also in the room, was Elmore County Prosecuting attorney Daniel Page along with Lee Fisher, who is also prosecuting for the state and for the Defense is Elmore County Public Defender Terry Ratliff, assisted by attorney John Kormanik.
