  • Your comments reminded me of a story my Mother told me about my Great-Aunt. Long before T.V. she would listen to the baseball games in Boston. Even though she was at home, when the Anthem was played, she would stand and place her hand over her heart.

  • At the very least, they could have stood up straight with the hands behind their back instead of crossed or impatiently looking at their watches.

    I think that is more recognition for Vets than in the past, but we can never do enough to show our appreciation.
