Mtn. Home junior leads team to win

Danny Brescia of Mountain Home exploded for five goals last Friday night as he led the Canyon County Coyotes to an 8-3 victory over Eagle/Rocky Mountain at Idaho Ice World.

Brescia, a junior at Mountain Home High School, quickly put Canyon County up 3-0 with his first "hat trick" of the season, and the Coyotes never looked back. The game was a personal best for Brescia, who has played ice hockey for seven years.

The Canyon County Coyotes are a competitive ice hockey club made up of high school athletes from Canyon County and its neighboring areas. The team provides the opportunity for high school athletes to play hockey at the JV and varsity levels even though their own high school does not have a hockey team.
