City plans increase in water, sewer rates

Water and sewer rates in Mountain Home are due to increase early next year following initial passage of the revised fees.

In a unanimous vote Dec. 10, the Mountain Home City Council approved a roughly 3 percent hike for both rates outlined in changes in local ordinances.

    So does this mean we, the taxpayers will see some upgrades? Maybe something can be done to alleviate some of the flooded streets that occur almost everytime it rains or the snow melts.
