Coat drive begins soon

Coats are being collected for kids in school who need them this winter.

Alpha Delta Kappa, a local teachers' sorority, will hold its annual coat drive on Saturday, Oct. 13, from noon to 2 p.m.

The coat drive, for those in need of a coat, will take place in the gym at East Elementary, 775 N. 10th East St. Anyone who has a coat in good condition who would like to donate can bring it to any of the district's schools before Oct. 4, where a drop-off box will be available.
