Tiger Shark heading down the lane in recent meet.

Swimmers take your mark! This coming Saturday, June 30th, marks the first ever home swim meet featuring the Mountain Home Tiger Sharks Swim Team. The Tiger Sharks are hosting the Caldwell Barracudas at 9am sharp at the Mountain Home City Pool. Mountain Home Parks and Recreation added a swim team to the many summer activities available for local youth in the summer of 2011. Tiger Sharks swim team members range from 6 to 18 years of age. The Sharks train early in the morning at the city pool, some using the sport as a way of staying in shape during the summer months for upcoming fall sports, learning the benefits of a great life-time sport. The Tiger Sharks cordially invite you to watch them take on the Barracudas this Saturday. Never been to a swim meet before? A swim meet is like a track meet, complete with events, heats and great finish line excitement. Why wait for the Olympics in London? We've got some amazing local swimmers you can watch in person this Saturday! Admission is free and concessions will be avaiable. Come join the fun!
