Mary Louise Brown, 90, died May 23, 2012, after a brief bout with pneumonia. She was a 46-year resident of Mountain Home.

The Oklahoma native was born Dec. 26, 1921, and married then 1st Lt. Thomas M. Brown, U.S. Air Force, on Aug. 7, 1943. Chief Master Sergeant Tom Brown preceded her in death in March 2008.

Memorial services for Mary Brown will be Wednesday, May 30, 2012, 4 p.m., at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 3850 Airbase Road, Mountain Home. Rev. David Howell, pastor, will officiate.

A lifelong musician, the deceased was active in the music ministry of the churches of which she was a member. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Mary Louise to Emmanuel Baptist Church.

In addition to music, her interests included gardening, camping, line-dancing, reading and stamping.

Mary Brown is survived by four children: Michael (Carolyn) Brown, Green Bay, Wis.; Susan (William) Crouse, Richardson, Texas; Linda (Edward) Cimbalik, Cascade; and Debbie (Robert) Jackson, Parma. In addition, she had 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to express its gratitude and appreciation to the staff of St. Luke's Hospital, Boise, as well as the pastor and congregation of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
