Congratulations to the winners

Dear editor,

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who ran for office this past election. It takes a lot of courage to do so because things often get nasty.

Congratulations to the winners! As my representatives, I would challenge you all to go spend time in educational institutions, like charter schools, public schools, community colleges and universities. By doing so, you can make informed decisions on educational funding as well as seeing the awesome things that happen every day. Thanks!
