Janis Kaye Hall, our dear sweet loving mother and wife, entered into this world on July 9, 1959, in Boise to parents Barbara and James Owen. She entered into eternal rest and peace at the age of 52 on April 5, 2012, while in the caring hands of family.

We grieve the loss of her beautiful spirit that we've loved so much, but now we welcome with happiness her joyful loving memory into our hearts eternally. We know that she is united with her Heavenly Father and loving daughter Tiffany.

Services will be held at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel with a viewing for family and friends on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m., and funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home. After services, a meal and fellowship for family and friends will held at the "Old" Church of Latter-day Saints Stake Center, located at 1150 North 8th East Street.

Janis had met and married the love of her life, Steven Hall, on Feb. 12, 1977. Like so many young military brides, she left her home and traveled to the United Kingdom to be with him. They spent their first Christmas in New Market, England. In their 30-year career, they were stationed at several bases. A total of 11 years were spent in England where they have many dear friends.

In 1984, they were blessed with a daughter, Nicole, and in 1986 a daughter, Tiffany. She was a devoted mother and wife. She loved her children above everything else.

Janis had an unforgettable smile that would light up any room which in her teens earned her the nickname Sunshine. She focused her life on family, a small circle of friends, her church and a few select activities. She became a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Order of the Amaranth while living here in Mountain Home. She was an avid supporter of the BSU Broncos and did not miss watching a game on TV.

Those she touched were lucky to have been blessed by her warm friendly smile, caring nature and love of life.

Janis is survived by her husband, Steven L. Hall; daughter Nicole and her husband, Justin Casper of Mountain Home, Idaho; her sister, Kristy Fenrich of Winchester, Ore.; her brothers, Douglas Fenrich of Vancouver Wash., and Brian Fenrich and his wife, Susan, of Boise, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Tiffany, and her parents.
