Marilyn Donella Jensen was born on Feb. 9, 1923, in Anita, Iowa, to George and Julia Exline Biggs. She married Edwin Nelsen on March 15, 1939, and together they raised seven

In March of 1958 Edwin passed away of Hodgkin's Disease. Then the following year she married Gordon Jensen. They had a child together, Jon Sophus Jensen, who passed away of a heart condition three months later.

Marilyn worked at a nursing home in Anita as an aid for nearly 20 years before her and Gordon moved to Idaho. After living in Payette for a short time they moved to Glenns Ferry where Marilyn worked at Magic West potato processing plant until she retired.

She is survived by five of her children: Claudette and Edward Titus of Glenns Ferry, Mardell Alff and Patricia Cheney of Burlington, Iowa, Noel and Kriss Nelsen of Gooding, Mark and Sue Nelsen of Meridian; 26x grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by both husbands, Edwin and Gordon, her son, Darrell Nelsen, and daughter, Mavis Gillette, great-grandson Tommy Fain, granddaughter Deidra Nelsen, grandson Darrell Nelsen Jr. and great-grandson Trevor Titus.

Services to be held at the VFW Hall in Glenns Ferry at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4. A family dinner will follow.

Internment will be in Anita, Iowa, in the spring, with close family.
