Tom Floyd

Thomas "Tom" Martin Floyd, 64, of Mountain Home, passed away at his home on Monday, Nov. 1, 2010.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Nov. 5, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Burial with military honors was held at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise.

Tom was born on Dec. 31, 1945, in Parsons, Kan., the son of Lee and Leulla Floyd. He graduated from Butte County High School in Arco, Idaho.

Tom spent 26 years in the US Air Force and retired as a master sergeant.

Tom married Clyva Kelley in Seguin, Texas, on July 12, 1968, and together they had a son, James.

Tom lived in Mountain Home 27 years.

Tom was employed with Micron and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Tom is survived by his wife, Clyva, son James and his wife, Cara Floyd, two granddaughters and numerous other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
