Tharp to wed Fredericksen

Kathy Eakin, and the late Arthur Eakin of Bainbridge, Ga., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Lisa E. Tharp, to Matthew David Fredericksen of Crestview, Fla., the son of Robert and Lisa Woodruff of Mountain Home.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 3, 2011, in Destin, Fla.

Fredericksen is a 2004 graduate of Mountain Home High School and is employed with the United States Air Force as a C-130 crew chief. He is stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.

Tharp is a 1995 graduate of Bainbridge High School and a 2000 Graduate of Bainbridge College with a degree in both accounting and business management. She is employed as an accountant with Milligan Water System of Crestview, Fla., is a licensed insurance agent with Liberty National Life Insurance, and also as a model with Model Management in Atlanta, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jeanette Eakin and the late Dick Eakin of Bainbridge.

The prospective groom is the grandson of David and Beverly Schmidt, of Mountain Home and the late Robert and Beverly Fredericksen of Gooding, and the late David L. Duncombe of Mountain Home.
