Robin was born Dec. 18, 1959 in Huntington Park, Calif., to Alice Ann Lucas and Robert Leslie McGinnis. The youngest of four children, she never knew her father as he passed before she was born. Growing up in Yucca Valley, Calif., Robin and her sisters spent countless hours riding horses through the valley dessert. As a teen she spent summers at Jelly Stone Park playing Booboo and Yogi and leading trail rides.

February 1979 she married Carlos Flowers and for 25 years lived the life of a military wife, living in the Azores, Italy and numerous bases stateside, ending up in Mountain Home, Idaho. Robin loved living in Italy and became part of the community wherever she lived.

Robin and Carlos had one child, Michelle, the light of Robin's eye.

After separating from Carlos, Robin met Leonard Andrew, of Caldwell. In a short time Robin and Leonard became soul mates. This would be a love deeper than either had every known. Robin was never happier than being with him on the farm. Here Robin helped Leonard irrigate. Though never fond of siphon tubes, she loved helping move wheel lines, driving a little tractor, running parts, keeping the books and running her own business selling bean combine parts. This also allowed her time for horseback riding.

Robin's favorite farm chores were driving truck during harvest, driving both the tandem axle short truck and the semi, but most of all she loved taking care of her husband, Leonard.

Robin loved Leonardıs children, Jacquelynn and Zachary, as if they were her own. She taught them both many of her personal experiences. Robin, Leonard, Jacquelynn, Zach, Michelle and granddaughter, Katrina are a family bound together by Robinıs great love.

Robin, though we know you are always with us, your voice, your laugh, your beautiful eyes, soft touch and your vibrate personality will be greatly missed but in our hearts forever. Rest peacefully my wife and soulmate, our mother and teacher.

Robin is survived by her husband, Leonard P. Andrew; daughters Michelle Flowers and Jacquelynn Andrew, son Zachary Andrew, granddaughter Katrina Flowers, sisters Kathy (Ron) Peters and Barbara (Robert) Flowers, brother Daniel McGinnis and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice A. Lucas, and her father, Robert L. McGinnis.

The family suggests that memorials be made to Heart & Home Hospice, 1815 S. 10th Ave., Caldwell, ID 83605, or Northwest Animal Companions, PO Box 6376, Boise, ID 83707.
