Frank Jensen Pike, 83, passed away Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at his home in Syracuse.

He was born June 12, 1926, in Burley, Idaho, the son of Oscar Dalling and Mary Ann Jensen Pike.

Frank felt honored to serve his country during World War II.

He married DarThel Bybee on Oct. 3, 1945, in the Salt Lake Temple.

He loved farming and all his many friends as a sales representative for Select Sires.

Surviving are his wife, DarThel, two sons, Oscar A. (Stephanie) Pike and Frank B. (Debbie) Pike, daughters Marianne (David) Higginson, Stephaney (Gordon) Powell, Fran (Howard) Brown, Caroline (Neal) Briggs, Marti Pike and Leda (Russell) Stoker, 47 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and sister Lois (Robert) Smelser.

His testimony of the restored gospel was the foundation of the legacy he leaves for his posterity.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Calvin Pike, sister Arthella Beutler, son Dart Frank Pike, two granddaughters and a grandson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. at the Huckleberry LDS Chapel, 1313 S. 2500 West., Syracuse. Friends and family may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Syracuse City Cemetery.
