Magees celebrate 50th

Bill and Mitzi Magee of Mountain Home will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 1.

The couple were married in Nancy, France, while Bill was stationed at Toulrosiers Air Base. They came to Mountain Home with the F-4s in 1965 and he retired here ten years later. Bill then spent 20 years working for the state Department of Transportation. Mitzi served as a homemaker and community volunteer, spending extensive time working at the animal shelter and leading the Elmore County Humane Society.

They have one daughter, Darlene.
