Kelly E. Smith, 32 of Mountain Home, died on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, in Pocatello, due to an industrial accident. A Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Rost Funeral Home,

McMurtrey Chapel. Services will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2009 with a viewing at 10:00am to 10:45am, funeral services at 11:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Mountain Home, Idaho Stake Center and burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Kelly was born on Fatheršs Day, June 19, 1977, the seventh child of eight born to Larry and Gae Smith in Mountain Home. He attended Mtn Home High School and finished his vocational education and became a journeyman plumber. He worked for Bowman Inc. for several years.

Kelly married Heidi Ann Rodrigues on August 21, 1999. They lived the majority of their married life in Mtn Home, with a few years in Melba. Together they had three children and were expecting their fourth in February.

Kelly loved to spend time with his family camping and working on the pig farm. He also like hunting, fishing, driving fast cars and dirt bikes. He enjoyed dancing and karaoke. Kelly knew how to love and serve others as well as many and better than most.

Kelly is survived by his wife Heidi Ann, his children Britin, Westen and Kayla all of Mtn Home, his parents Larry and Gae Smith of Marsing, his brothers Kurt and his wife Monica, Kyle Smith and Kevin and his wife Ariane Smith all of Melba, his sisters Heidi and her husband Dan Stirm of Melba, Hope and her husband Xavier Villa of Homedale, Holly and her husband John Hall of Marsing, Haylee and her husband Mark Trujillo of Mtn Home, his inlaws; George Rodrigues of Mtn Home, Maggie and her husband Nathan Lancaster of Burley, George Jr and his wife Andee Rodrigues of Mtn Home, David Rodrigues of Pocatello, Danielle and her husband Rob Sherman of Meridian, Candi and her husband William McBroom of Yoder, Colorado, Amber Schwerkert of Mtn Home and Anthony Rodrigues of Mtn Home and 50 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Kylee Ray Trujillo, JaQuita Rodrigues, Darci Woodruff, Michael Rodrigues, Alexis Woodruff and Ryker Woodruff.
